Community Presbyterian Church has two times for worship services. Our 9:00 a.m. is a contemporary service (located in Fellowship Hall) and our 10:30 a.m. is the traditional service (located in the Sanctuary). Here is more information about what you can expect.
The Grateful Bread
Our contemporary worship service at 9:00 a.m. is led by the multi-talented and multi-generational Grateful Bread Band. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. The Bread is made up of musicians playing a wide variety of instrumentals. If you play an instrument (any instrument) and want to get involved, please contact us.
The Chancel Choir is comprised of roughly 30 volunteers from all walks of life. Rehearsals are Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. in the Choir Room. This choir sings at most traditional worship services and occasionally performs in special worship services or concerts.
The Glory Ringers
The Glory Ringers is an ensemble of roughly 14 bell-ringers. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays at 5:45 p.m. in the Sanctuary. The Glory Ringers perform the 2nd Sunday of every month at the traditional worship services at 10:30 a.m. and occasionally perform in special worship services or concerts. We are always looking for new members. Even if you don’t know how to “ring”, we’ll be glad to teach you.
