Community Presbyterian Church is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA)Our foundation is rooted in the Reformation and the teachings of John Calvin. Known as the Reformed Tradition our theology stresses the sovereignty of God, the authority of Scripture, justification by grace through faith and the priesthood of all believers. Our churches are governed by presbyters (Elders), who are elected by the church body.

Our traditional worship services are held at 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM every Sunday morning. Traditional worship includes our chancel choir, hand bells, and hymns. Traditional Worship is held in our beautiful sanctuary, built in 1939.

Children are part of our worshiping community.  We love for them to participate as they can, learning the songs of our faith, and how to pray.   We consider the voices of children and the sounds of babies in worship to be a joyful noise to the Lord. For those who wish, childcare is provided every Sunday during all worship services.

Our contemporary worship service is held at 9:45 AM every Sunday Morning, led by the collective talents of the Grateful Bread band this service is casual and full of energy. Contemporary Worship is held in our Fellowship Hall.  Children’s Sunday School is provided for children PreK3 - 5th Grade year-round.

Children's Mission Worship is a unique Sunday School opportunity only offered during our 11:00 AM worship service. Children of all ages spend this hour each Sunday working on mission projects to benefit our community. From packing hygiene kits for the homeless, to making sandwiches for the soup kitchen, this is a wonderful time for your child to learn more about giving back in small ways. For more information contact Melissa Daniel, Director of Christian Education.

At Community Presbyterian Church we truly believe ALL children are part of our worshiping community, including children with special needs. In 2019 we officially launched Max's Ministry, a ministry aimed at making sure children with special needs are included in all our community activities. Named after our own Max, a child of our church with autism, Max's Ministry is committed to helping families with children with special needs feel welcome and included in our community. We can provide one-on-one care and companionship for your child during worship, Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, retreats, and other activities. For more information on Max's Ministry, contact Melissa Daniel, Director of Christian Education.
